Biography

Sonia Gomez is the Practice Manager for First Response Family Law. Sonia is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm. She brings over 18 years of administrative experience in office management, human resources, and accounting in the legal field. As someone who divorced herself and has to co-parent, she not only knows the struggles involved in family law, but she can empathize with you and understand what you are going through. Through her family law consultations, Sonia strives to make clients know they are heard and matter even if you just need a few minutes to vent. She found her passion in law and the desire to always help those searching for someone who understands their situation.

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, she enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones. When Sonia is not working or spending time with her family, she likes to volunteer her time helping others less fortunate. If there is one message Sonia likes clients to know, it is, “I will always be sure to treat you like family.”
